Danger Signs of Pregnancy
"ABC'S" Classic mnemonic

Abdominal pain

Blurring of vision --> pre-eclampsia
Bleeding --> abortion, ectopic pregnancy; H-mole, incompetent cervix; placental anomaly
Board-like abd --> abruptio placenta
BP elevated --> gestational HPN

Chills and fever --> sign of infection
Cerebral disturbance

Spots on eyes (Scotoma) --> pre-eclampsia
Sudden gush of fluid --> PROM
Swelling/edema of upper extremities --> pre-eclampsia
